In the year 2560, the Galactic Bumper Car Federation arranges the largest bumper car tournament ever! The greatest bumper car drivers from all time have been assembled to do battle for the prize. Advanced time travel has allowed the GBCF to collect drivers from all time periods, each with his or her own finely tuned car. The cars range in design from the first bumper cars ever made to the newest in high-tech, reflective-shielded machines. The ready availability of time and space travel makes it easy for the competitions to take place in any time period, anywhere. Much research has taken place, and out of literally billions of fair-goers, bumper car fanatics, and professionals from the Bumper Car Sport League (founded in 2230, after the advent of hyper-gravity movement and magnetic/laser bouncers), the field has been narrowed down to seven contestants (new research may change this number before the game's release). These challengers will compete in several fields of competition, alternately destroying their opponents in the arena, leaving them behind on the racetrack, or relying on them in team games of Capture the Flag. The entire known universe watches these brave drivers with bated breath, waiting to see who claims the title of Galactic Champion!
