Lately, I can't believe what I hear from you,
It's like your words aren't truly your own.
I can't understand your sudden change of heart --
Is it you that I'm actually hearing this from?
Stage II: Breakdown...
For the longest time, we've been right for each other
We've shared time, as well as interests together.
Yet now, I'm deeply hurt by your accusations --
Is it you that I'm hearing these words of pain from?
Stage III: Control...
It's as if some force has come between us now,
Destined from the start to tear us apart,
It holds you in its grip, and has captured your mind --
Is it you who could change so suddenly?
Stage IV: Regret...
I can't compete against the force that posesses you
The qualities you saw in me, you see now as flaws
It angers me so, yet I feel deep sorrow for you --
Is it you who can't slip free of its grasp?
Stage V: Departure...
The roaring thunder echos my anger inside
