A Rapidly Reviving Interest of R3...
the vision of raider3

.
Beta version 6.30 - last: 2001.12.22 - design by r3... new generation pre 3...

Welcome to one of my primary interests, in fact, one that has occupied practically half my life, ranging from my first Commodore 64, to the first 386 I had back in 1992, to the 3rd, 4th, and soon to be 5th machine I'm working on...

The Raider3 "Network" currently consists of two machines. The previous Windows machine was a non-Y2K compliant 486, which was my first real net machine, and served me quite well over the last four years. The machines I use currently is a Linux-powered K6-2/350, put together for me by teapot (thanks!) and running Red Hat 6.1 (And I promise I'll get back to C study ^_^;) Tne box for all my Windows toys is a K6=2/400, running Windows 98 Second Edition (Gah...), built by myself to my own specs. It runs, and runs well when Win98 decides to behave (But that's why I'm supposed to be learning Linux anyway, right? ^_^;)

The 486 has been replaced by a K6-2/400 machine. Stay tuned for info and insights on my experience buidling the new computer as soon as I can get them up. For now, I'll put up info on the Linux machine, as well as the new Windoze box.
